My recent trip to Miri (July 6-10) got me taking these pictures of the mascots at a roundabout near my home and the public park, also close to home.  Cool stuff if you ask me...

This is the Mascot of Miri City, The seahorse.  These pictures were taken at 6.30 pm.

This is the public park, Taman Awam Miri.  The view here is the front area.  The whole park is built on a hillside.  This area in on the hill and the rest of the park occupies the area downhill, to the right of the picture.  Great landscaping and oh so natural, well, kinda.

The suspension bridge and parts of it.  It sways...

Yup, you guessed it. The primary feature here is the suspension bridge.  The park is built on a hill so it is suitable for people to jog, walk, or just chill out.  Day or night you can see some groups of people having a nice picnic or barbeque.  Amenities include barbeque pits, water and washing area, public toilets and children's playground.  Cool place really.
